General Information SY 2024-2025

The PPEP TEC High School Sports Program is an interagency program consisting of:
 
  • Coed Basketball teams at five campuses
  • Adult Soccer League at the Jose Yepez and Cesar Chavez Campuses in the Yuma area.
    • (A proposal for expanding the soccer program for underage students at several campuses is underway
 
Basketball: We are holding regional games across the district paring teams who have not played in past seasons. The season started on December 1st with practices.  The first game of the season will be on January 24, 2025. The final games will be held on March 4th, 2025.  We hope to hold a District Tournament in Tucson on April 12th, 2025.  Contact your local school for more information.

Raul Castro-Douglas
 
Teams will keep scoring up to the tournament.  The team with the most wins will receive a certificate of excellence.  The tournament will be played by teams drawing their names out of a hat.  Teams will play each other until there is a final winner.
